I have moved this information into the article entiltled Fat, which is where it belongs. The English word (as far as I can see, and I did a pretty thorough check) does not have this definition-- no matter how closely it sounds like the Danish word fedt, which you are referring to.

adding mention of FITS image format with .fit filename extension
[edit]I suggest that this disambiguation list takes a link to FITS, a digital file format, into account. I would put it into the Technology section with a paragraph like this:
- .fit is a filename extension used by the Flexible Image Transport System (FITS), an open standard defining a digital file format useful for storage, transmission and processing of data.
If someone approves of this or has a better way to phrase it, I encourage him to add it to the page whenever he likes.
